I became a TLYC representative because I was trying to find a way to give back to my community and I wanted to help the youth of Lakeshore because I know how we feel and what we need in Lakeshore for the youth. 

I joined TLYC because I feel that youth don't express themselves enough. I don't think they realize how important their input and opinions are, and I want them to be heard. Lakeshore is not only a community for the adults: the youth represent a huge portion!

I chose to be in TLYC because I wanted to let my voice, and the voice of all the other youth to be heard and to let them have endless possibilities. Lakeshore has much potentiel for youth and its time to let that show.

The reason I joined the Lakeshore Youth Council was to hope to help make a better tomorrow.

I joined TLYC because I saw it as a productive and structured way to help out in my community. I have always been one to volunteer and I saw this as a great way to give back to those I spend the most time with. Everyone wants something and I know that I can go out and get it.

I think that the youth should have a voice in the community and TLYC is a good way to give them one.

I joined the TLYC because if I want to live in a community that I like when I am older, I should have a part in shaping that community now. I can help put the ideas of youth into action and make our community better. Lakeshore is a great town to live in and I show that by doing what I can to give back to it.
